Broken Arrow’s Voyage Solar System Walkway Ribbon Cutting

More than 25 years ago, Dr. Jeff Goldstein, a Smithsonian aerospace scientist, made his first of three visits to Broken Arrow Public Schools. He shared a plan of creating scale Solar System walkways in cities across the country. On Sept. 13, Broken Arrow became home of the nation’s seventh Voyage Solar System Walkway and the first to be placed on a public school campus – stretching nearly 2,000 feet on Albany from Creekwood Elementary to Broken Arrow High School.
