Averaging donations of more than $6,500 annually for BAPS Special Olympics, BA Athletic Department’s Freezin’ for a Reason was limited in scope and involvement this year due to COVID-19. Steve Dunn, Exec. Athletic Director, “took one for the team,” so to speak, as $1,500 was raised in the event’s sixth year. Hopefully, in 2022 coaches and athletes will again be able to join in the freezing water plunge for BAPS Special Olympics. Thanks Coach Dunn for stepping up, stepping in and submerging into the ice water.
